Milissa Holland has been a resident of Palm Coast since 1987 when her father, Jim Holland, an original Palm Coast Councilman, moved his family to Palm Coast from New York. Milissa graduated from Flagler/Palm Coast High School and has an AA degree from Daytona State College, where she continues her studies today.
As a young woman, Milissa watched her father, along with other forward-thinking residents, bring to fruition in 1999 the incorporation of the City of Palm Coast. Having a front row seat to the incorporation process gives Milissa an historical perspective of the original Council's vision for the future of Palm Coast. That historical perspective, along with her practical experience as a Flagler County Commission, its Chair, a candidate for the Florida State Legislature, and a lobbyist representing clients in Tallahassee makes her a multi-faceted leader with extraordinary political skills to guide the City of Palm Coast in a steady, experienced, practical way over the next four years.
