My name is Danny Damian I love Baldwin Park. I grew up on these streets, where my family and I have lived for over 40 years.
I attended Margaret Heath Elementary, Olive Middle School, and Baldwin Park High School. As a young child, I played at Baldwin Park National Little League and then began to volunteer and coach other children in the league. I’ve always felt the need to make a difference in the lives of the families in Baldwin Park and this is where it all started.
I currently fundraise and volunteer for the Annual Christmas Toy Drive, Business People 4 Breast Cancer for City of Hope, St. John’s Social Services, Annual Turkey Drive feeding needy families in our community, Baldwin Park Santa Clothes Program, The Back to School Backpack Giveaway, and a member of LA VOICE fighting for Human and Civil Rights. Another organization that I am passionate about is the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society after this disease affected my family.
I’m also a small business owner in the city of Baldwin Park. I currently own and operate Lakeside Financial Services which provides real estate and mortgage assistance as well as tax preparation services. I have been an activist fighting for human and civil rights for over 10 years and I was also a Delegate for the California 48th Assembly District where I proudly served until the end of my term.
I became an entrepreneur in 1996 at the young age of 21 when I opened my first business, Big Boyz Paging, on Maine Ave. in Baldwin Park. After a few years, I saw a need locally for financial services in the community and I wanted to help. This led me into the Tax preparation and financial services of Lakeside Financial. Lakeside opened its doors in 2007 to serve the residents of Baldwin Park. With time, Lakeside continued to evolve as I saw that my clients were in need of other financial services from someone they could trust, therefore I added real estate as well as mortgage assistance aspects. This business has continued to thrive and has become a prominent component of the community.
