As a candidate for Romoland School District Governing Board Member for Trustee Area 5, Debbie is running for this open seat to represent ALL stakeholders. First and foremost, students and parents, but in addition, all of those that are charged with contributing to the success of Romoland students: Teachers, classified personnel, administrators, and managers. She believes that Romoland School District owes its students the best well-rounded education that can possibly be provided in order to send them to high school with the greatest preparation for success.
Debbie is a full-time educator, holding the titles of Associate Professor of Dental Hygiene at Moreno Valley College, as well as the Dental Hygiene Program Director. After working for a number of years in private practice, she began her education career as a part-time instructor (while still working full-time in private practice) and eventually made the transition to full-time faculty member, recently being named the program’s director.
Academically, Debbie holds a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene degree from Northern Arizona University, and a Master of Arts in Learning Technologies degree from Pepperdine University. Debbie has been married to her husband Greg for nearly 36 years, has five grown children and eight grandchildren.
