My name is H. Ernie Nishii. I was born in East LA & raised in Santa Ana. After graduating UCLA law and passing the bar, I married Young Choi, a longtime Cerritos resident. I am a former member of Sarang Church & current member of Cerritos Baptist Church. Our daughter attended Leal, Whitney, and now attends college. I moved to Cerritos in 2003 for its great schools, safe clean neighborhoods, and varied community. Young & I felt this would be a great place to raise our family with great values and it has not disappointed. I am running for the Cerritos City Council and I am running on a platform to improve our safety, create an everlasting relationship between the City and the School District, improve the life of our Seniors and more importantly financial transparency in the City governance.
