Nicole Samson has a passion for local government and loves her hometown of Lafayette! With more than 17 years of professional experience in government, Nicole has a unique background and understanding of issues from economic development, planning, parks and recreation, affordable housing, finance, and infrastructure. Currently, she administers federal grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the U.S. Treasury for Adams County and facilities the Adams County Foundation. Nicole currently serves on the Planning Commission and filled a vacancy on City Council for six months in 2019. She has also served on the Northwest Parkway Board of Directors and the Boulder County Arts Alliance Board. She earned her master’s degree from CU-Denver in Public Administration and has two undergraduate degrees – one in communications and one in dance.
