Liz Cox is a longtime West Des Moines resident, community volunteer, and youth advocate passionate about community betterment and a thriving city and school system.
Cox is currently the CEO of Polk County Health Services, a non-profit agency supporting mental health and disability services for adults and children. Prior to leading Polk County Health Services, Liz was the director of Prevent Child Abuse Iowa.
Liz was elected to the West Des Moines Board of Education in 2015 and currently serves as Vice-President of the Board.
