Jazmin Wingert is a Republican Candidate for Stephenson County Clerk.

Jazmin was born and raised in Kent, IL (Stephenson County.) She attended Pearl City High School and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin Platteville with a Bachelors in Agricultural Business.

It was Jazmin's work ethic that propelled her to graduate from college in 3 1/2 years debt-free. Jazmin was able to accomplish this by receiving numerous scholarships, working multiple jobs, and serving on campus and in her community. This was all achieved while being a full-time student.

As a college student, Jazmin began to make a name for herself by being involved in agricultural organizations where she served as Pioneer Dairy Club President, Alpha Zeta Treasurer, and an Agricultural Ambassador. She was not only an agricultural advocate on campus but promoted conservative values, fighting to bring conservative voices to campus that talked about hard work and self-reliance. She actively served on the Executive Board for Student Senate. She was part of a small group that founded the campus organization Pioneers Vote, an organization that strives to provide students with information and resources they need to participate in their elections.

After college, she began her career in the corporate world working for Union Pacific Railroad where she is a Commercial Sales Consultant. Her responsibilities include maintaining customer relationships and developing new lanes of business development. Jazmin is a member of Union Pacific's Employee Resource Groups LEAD (A Women's Initiative: Lead. Educate. Achieve. Develop) and UP Ties (Connecting and Developing Young Professionals.)

While Jazmin is currently working in corporate America, she has a strong desire to serve the community of Stephenson County in which she was raised. This is the place she is passionate to serve. This is the place she wants to raise a family someday. Where her children can have the same opportunities growing up in rural America as she did.

Jazmin attends her home churches Zion Community Church (Pearl City) and Simply Free Church (Lanark). She also actively serves as a committeewoman on the Stephenson County Republican Central Committee, a Pearl City FFA Alumni, a member of the Pearl City American Legion Auxiliary, a member of the Stephenson County Farm Bureau Young Leaders, and a member of the Run Gen Z Organization.
