My name is Ethan Legg, I was born and raised here in Elkhart County. I was raised by two amazing people, my father Thomas Legg, Jr. and my mother Lori Legg. My parents worked very hard to instill a solid work ethic and a passion to help people. My mother was injured in a car crash when I was very young and was deemed disabled and unable to work a normal job, but she found a way to make sure I would never want for anything. My father who worked the same job in a dirty factory for nearly 20 years and his reward was being injured on the job and also becoming disabled. Though my family struggled financially, I didn't realize it until years later, that's when I got a job at the age of 16 right here in Elkhart. I worked at the local Martin's Supermarket to help my family get through some rough patches. I maintained this job for six and a half years. I worked a nearly full time job while finishing at Jimtown High School and I continued to work through my undergraduate study at Indiana University South Bend. After IU South Bend, I knew that I wanted to be able to help others so I applied to law school. I attended Valparaiso University School of Law and attained my Juris Doctor in 2016. I have held jobs in the customer service industry, the legal industry, and the real estate industry. These jobs have been great, but I know that my passion for helping people, communicating, education, and the law will add up perfectly to representing this great district as its representative in Indianapolis. Let me do the Legg work for you and remind Indianapolis what freedom means.
