Tim Gowen is 57 years old with no political experience. He is an aerospace engineer who worked for the Naval Air Systems Command at Patuxent River NAS in Maryland for 25 years before he retired and became full time Maryland National Guard. Tim is currently the top general (Adjutant General) of Maryland National Guard. He is a pragmatic, data-driven problem solver with strategic leadership experience at the state, national, and international levels. Tim's focus areas are smart infrastructure, law and order, steady reduction in state taxes and fees, quality education, and protecting the beauty of southern Maryland.
