Victor Williams is an attorney and law professor in Washington, D.C. After completing a federal judicial clerkship, Williams has taught law full-time since 1992.
In mid-March 2016, as a new project for my www.DisruptiveJustice.org civic engagement effort, Williams entered the GOP race for the presidency as a “write-in” candidate.
Williams's campaign met the filing deadlines and declaration requirements in eight later-primary states. Actual ballot placement is sought for South Dakota which does not allow “write-ins.”
And on March 25, 2016, his campaign lodged formal ballot challenges against Ted Cruz’s eligibility in each of those nine states -- as Cruz is not a 'natural born Citizen.'
Williams now has 'competitor candidate' legal standing to bring multiple suits against Ted Cruz to disqualify him from the remaining presidential primaries.
