Born and raised in Lewiston, a second generation Franco-American and a Lewiston High School graduate, Megan has proven herself to be a passionate and dedicated advocate for our community's youth as the At-Large rep on the Lewiston School Committee for the last eight years, serving as Chairwoman for three of those years.
As a parent, Megan has worked to instill the importance of community service in her own children, her daughter a 2020 LHS graduate who is currently completing her senior year at Curry College with a double major in Criminal Justice and Social Work, and her son an LHS freshman.
Megan is licensed by the State of Maine as a social worker, substance use/addictions counselor, and certified clinical supervisor, and recently completed a graduate certificate in Public Health.
As a Senior Clinician in inpatient behavioral health at St Mary's Regional Medical Center, Megan provides compassionate and supportive care and counseling to individuals and families during some of the most difficult times of their lives.
