I live in Sault Ste Marie and currently I work in Family Preservation. I do prevention and reunification of kids in foster care. I have worked in a juvenile justice program for six years, for the Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indians for 14 years as Vault Supervisor, I briefly worked inside a state prison for Trinity, supervising inmates preparing meals for the population. I also did my internship in that same prison. I graduated from Lake Superior State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice - Corrections.
I have three children, one grandchild. I have been a foster parent as well. I am running because I am concerned for our democracy and our foundational right to vote. I also plan to revamp the foster care system and the prison system.
*I put "challenger," though there is no incumbent in this race. It gave errors with "other."
