Kirt Briggs has served successfully as Mayor since January 9, 2017. During that time, he has strengthened trust and communication across the community. He has presided over a unified and effective City Council that helped lead the City through one of the most significant road projects in Prior Lake’s history and successfully completing a joint water treatment facility with the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community. The past four years have also delivered common-sense growth and debt-reducing priorities that has placed the city on a path to a sustainable financial future.
