My name is James L. Lowman, and I was born and raised in the Kansas City Metro Area, living currently in Independence, Missouri for over 32 years. I attended Truman High School, then enrolled at Wentworth Military Academy in Lexington, MO, and later attended Rockhurst College.
I began my professional life in Radio in the Kansas City Metro, getting my start on WDAF 61 Country. Later, I traveled around the world modernizing radio stations for Broadcast Electronics out of Quincy, Illinois. I had the opportunity to return to Kansas City to become the Director of Information Technology (IT) for Entercom Radio, and after spending many years in the Radio Business, I founded and currently run an independent IT Tech Support company out of Kansas City.
My days at the military academy taught me the importance of being active in my community. I have been and continue to be involved in many volunteer and nonprofit organizations in the metro area, and throughout the State of Missouri, serving on numerous executive boards.
