Rollie Sampson will be seeking an At-Large Moore County Schools Board of Education Position.
Rollie Sampson is a resident of Moore County and currently works for Moore County Schools as the District Military Liaison. During her tenure, Ms. Sampson has been instrumental in increasing Impact Aid funding, standardizing enrollment processes, establishing transition programs for new students, and ensuring district compliance with the Interstate Compact for Educational Opportunities for Military Children. Additionally, she is also a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) and school counselor and collaborates closely with school counselors, school social workers, and school psychologists to support the behavioral health needs of the district’s 3600 military-connected students.
Ms. Sampson is a veteran and military spouse. Her family relocated to Moore County in 2005 when her husband was assigned to Fort Bragg. Since then, her family has decided to make Moore County their permanent home. Ms. Sampson has a long history of community service in Moore County including the Sandhills Children’s Center, Communities In Schools, Partners for Children and Families, Moore County Girl Scouts, Moore County JobLink, Boys and Girls Club of the Sandhills and Moore County Schools. She is also a Moore County Leadership Institute (MCLI) graduate and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the North Carolina Military and Government Counseling Association (NCMGCA) and the Sandhills Chapter of the Military Officers Association of American (MOAA).
