Max Whittington is a lifelong Oregonian who is running for State Representative to improve the lives of the people of our community and our state. Max was born and raised on a small farm outside of Cottage Grove, Oregon. He decided to become a lawyer because he wanted to help people. Max graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of Oregon, and then received his Juris Doctorate from Chicago-Kent College of Law. In 2015, Max began working as an associate attorney at Cauble & Cauble, LLP in Grants Pass. Primarily practicing civil litigation, Max has seen firsthand the impact that good and bad legislation has on the people of District 3. Max is also the only lawyer in the State of Oregon to sue four major retailers for refusing to sell firearms to legal adults. Max is now an owner and partner at Cauble, Selvig & Whittington, LLP, the largest law firm in Josephine County, and is the President of the Josephine County Bar Association.
