Nick Card is a fifth-generation Oregonian, born and raised in the Rogue Valley, and brings nearly a decade of operations and community service experience to tackle the toughest problems facing Medford residents.
If elected, Card will focus on the homelessness crisis, enabling downtown development and revitalization, and addressing the affordability and livability challenges facing our residents.
"I am excited to pursue this opportunity to help our community address these issues, and make Medford the shining star of our valley," said Card. "Medford has so many advantages that make it a wonderful place to live and work, but we must continue the hard work to protect these advantages and make Medford even greater."
Card currently serves on the board of the Chamber of Medford & Jackson County, where he is the Vice Chair, Creating a Strong Economy. He also currently serves on multiple Scholarship Selection Committees with the Oregon Community Foundation. He has previously served as one of the first youth board members of the American Red Cross (Southwest Oregon Chapter) and as the Secretary of the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society (Omega Chapter).
Card currently works as the Vice President of Operations at Combined Transport, Inc., his family's third-generation business. Card holds a bachelor's degree in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College. In 2007, Card graduated as valedictorian from South Medford High School.
