Josh was raised in Mifflintown, Pennsylvania. After graduating from Juniata High School in 2003, Josh attended Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania where he did the majority of his studies. He is also a founding member of the rechartered Kappa-Lambda Chapter of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity at Shippensburg. Following the birth of his two children, he put his education on hold to provide for his young family. Josh would later finish his studies and obtain his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Arizona State University.
Upon leaving Shippensburg, Josh worked at Rent-A-Center in Burnham where he worked as an account representative and was later promoted to assistant manager. He went on from that to work as the F&I Manager at Lake Chevrolet in Lewistown. Following this, he worked selling commercials for abc27 in Harrisburg, and then became a licensed Real Estate Agent in November of 2016. He currently works for Jack Gaughen Network Services Hower & Associates in Mifflintown.
In all of his professions, one thing has remained constant...helping others. Whether it was helping them to afford an appliance or furniture that they otherwise couldn't, working to get them into a car so they could get back and forth to work and children's sporting events, or working with small business owners to help promote their businesses.
Representing the 82nd District would be no different. His goal is to make the district better than it already is by working to pass legislation to bring in new jobs, create a better environment for our children to grow and learn, and just ensure that everyone has an overall better quality of life.
Josh currently resides in Mifflintown with his wife, Heather, and children Elizabeth and Samuel. He is an assistant coach for the Juniata Wrestling Club's Elementary Program and is active within the club. Josh is also an advisor to his college fraternity, Kappa Sigma, at Shippensburg University.
