I have long been passionate about public education and ensuring that all students have an opportunity to get the best possible education. I have a Master's in Teaching from the University of Virginia and was a high school biology teacher. I also attended the University of Connecticut where I earned a Masters in Business Administration. After my time at UConn, I served as Executive Director of Stocks in the Future, a non-profit associated with the Johns Hopkins School of Education that works with inner-city middle school students. I deeply feel the need to work with educators, parents, students and community members to gather, understand, and incorporate all their unique viewpoints so that the School Committee can effectively guide the Barrington Public Schools in pursuit of excellence for all students.
