Kizzie Smalls was born on February 3, 1977, in Conway, South Carolina, to Sandra K. Sessions-Green and Braxton Brown. Growing up in a poor, single-parent household, a young Kizzie Smalls learned that the only way to achieve the American dream was through hard work, determination, and a good education.
As the mother of a blended, beautiful family, she understands how critical it is to safeguard the family institution, which serves as the foundation of our society. Kizzie Smalls has spent her public life serving her family and her community. She comes from a family with a long history of public service. Her negotiating strength has consistently demonstrated her willingness to work with everyone for the sake of the people's will. She is well-known for vehemently defending her Christian morals and values. She believes in defending justice, equality, and opportunity wherever and whenever they are threatened. She has been an outspoken advocate for recognizing and honoring the sacrifices of freedom fighters who served as powerful agents of change.
Kizzie Smalls is a visionary and influential American leader. Her focus has always been on the needs of her community, and she is now ready to focus on the needs of her constituents in District 77, with a special emphasis on the most vulnerable and underserved communities. She has a strong belief in the redemptive power of the human spirit, as well as human ingenuity and tenacity. Smalls stands on the shoulders of a long line of patriots and public servants who have gone before her, all of whom are staunch supporters of our Constitution. Her life exemplifies our country's fundamental promise, and her work reflects a deep determination to defend and work for every American, whether they live on our main streets or on its side streets. Kizzie Smalls will fight for her constituents every day, working to improve their lives, grow the economy, bring solutions to the table, and strengthen the middle class.
Richland County and its surrounding communities are a snapshot of the diversity that is found across America. While large parts of district 77 include communities that house world-class health and educational institutions and a diverse array of businesses, there are others where youth unemployment and acts of violence are far too common. Kizzie Smalls will focus on providing public policy to help create jobs, tackle the misinformation that has caused poor relationships with law enforcement and our youth, and making communities safer. Kizzie Smalls has heard the cries and the needs of her constituents and has made a commitment to serve her district and to be their voice for common sense legislation.
Kizzie Smalls will carve an effective course of sound legislative leadership that will support the 7 core principles of conservatism:
Individual Freedom…
Limited Government. ...
The Rule of Law. ...
Peace through Strength. ...
Fiscal Responsibility. ...
Free Markets. ...
And Human Dignity.
