Jenny is a wife, mother, veteran, victim’s advocate, and small business owner. She resides in Spokane WA with her family. Jenny and her family moved to Spokane in 1997, where she and her husband raised their three children.
As a survivor of unspeakable abuse herself, Jenny found herself questioning why the law did not protect them from falling through the cracks of our legal system. To add insult when she was finally in a safe place both physically and mentally to face what happened, the law denied her and others a fair hand in our justice system. In 2011, she began working with Legislators, Prosecutors, Law Enforcement and other survivors to challenge and then to change the unfair law. Jenny was a tenacious driving force and worked tirelessly to bring everybody together to change the law. Her endeavor gained unanimous Legislative Bi-Partisan support as well as law enforcement and community support. Governor Inslee signed the new law into effect in 2013.
