My name is Nancy Urbani, and I am running for alderman of Mequon's District 8.
I am running for alderman because I am passionate about helping the City of Mequon continue to be a great place to live, work and play. With my skills in decision-making and planning, I can help Mequon residents continue with our excellent quality of life and low taxes.
I am the best person for the job because I am a service-oriented person. Service to my community has driven me my entire life. To me, public service is the best way to give back to the community where we chose to raise our family.
In all of my volunteer activities, I truly strive to find common ground and make experiences the best for everyone involved, even if some individuals’ perspective vary from mine. There is never one right way to do a project; so many people have great ideas, and I love to hear them. Balancing all of those ideas – along with the other 7 aldermanic districts – and finding consensus is our ultimate goal in maintaining the success and beauty of Mequon.
