I was born and raised in NW Limestone County, AL, now a Retired Army Colonel 20 years AGR Title 10 and Retired Huntsville Alabama police sergeant/investigator, Served 4 years active duty in the US Marine Corps and 15 years in the Alabama National Guard Reserves. NRA Training Counselor, Past President of the Madison County Police Benevolent Association (PBA). Past President of the Madison County Shooting Sports Association. I earned a master's degree in Justic and Public Safety from Auburn University-Montgomery. Army War College graduate with a master's degree in strategic studies. I'm an Environmentalist and part of the Tennessee Riverkeepers, an avid gardener and master naturalist certified. Alabama is a jewel of biodiversity and natural wonders that need protection. I'm 67 and currently live in NW Limestone County near the Elk River. Married for 35 years with one daughter and two grandchildren. My campaign is about putting power back into the hands of the citizens by passing a Ballot Initiative law. Ballot initiative laws empower citizens to propose legislation directly. This process allows voters to bypass traditional legislative bodies by collecting signatures to place measures on the ballot for a popular vote. Montgomery is not always right and not always looking out for people. I trust the people.
