Randy McFadden, a Christian, Conservative Republican, grew up in Fort Smith and attended public school at Southside, graduating in 1977, and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management from John Brown University in 2005. He has lived in the area for over 25 years.

Following after his father, a retired Major from the Fort Smith Police Department, Randy has over 20 years of varied Law Enforcement experience serving on the Springdale Police Department, and as a reserve deputy sheriff for both Sebastian and Washington counties. He also served in management security for United Parcel Service for 12 years, and served a total of 28 years with United Parcel Service, giving him a vast array of organizational and management experience.

Randy's experience in Law Enforcement, Corporate Operations, and Corporate Security gives him the leadership experience necessary to guide the Sebastian County Sheriff's Department in a refreshingly proactive manner.

From an early age, he learned that a person should have dignity and respect, along with high moral standards, and believes his Christian faith gives him the ability to serve Sebastian County with proactive, dependable, transparent and consistent leadership.

Randy and his wife, Sherrell, have lived in Mansfield since 2013, and are members of Shady Grove Free Will Baptist Church.
