Jessica Wani
Jessica Wani is running for for Paradise Valley Unified School District Governing Board in Phoenix, Arizona, an open seat. The election was held on November 5, 2024.
Jessica Wani believes that the American Dream begins in our neighborhood schools and is running for PVUSD governing board to ensure that every PV student has access to a great PV school.
Jessica is a parent of two children attending schools in PVUSD. Jessica has been an active parent volunteer at the elementary, middle, high school, and district level at PVSchools for more than a decade. She has been an advocate at the state and local level for increased funding for Arizona’s public schools and has volunteered to help successfully pass bond and override elections for PVSchools since 2017.
Jessica is an attorney with a versatile legal background, having pursued professional opportunities guided by her passion for service and advocating for communities and families. Jessica will bring compassionate problem-solving through strong steady leadership to PVUSD.
As a product of K-12 public education herself, Jessica understands the importance of a strong public education system for our communities. Jessica cares deeply about the PV Community and is running to make sure:
- PV students have the resources and support they need to achieve success.
- PV Students have various pathways and opportunities to achieve academic excellence.
- PVSchools is the preferred choice for families, teachers, and staff.
- All PVSchools have transparent school and district policies and practices that serve all PV students.
