Lucy Baird

I am the sole parent of a kindergartener in Albany and understand many of the issues facing working parents. As a refugee, I grew up in poverty and attended public schools. I was also the first in my family to attend and graduate university. My perspective is also shaped from my work where I provide efficiency roadmaps and operational support to companies and governments so that they may run better. I am passionate about education and believe in its power to transform lives and communities.
