I am committed to ensuring College of the Desert remains a pillar of opportunity in the Coachella Valley, driven by a strong belief in education's role in economic growth and community strength. My focus is on enhancing vocational and technical training programs to align with local industry needs, equipping students with the skills to succeed and contribute to our community.
As a proponent of fiscal responsibility, I advocate for prudent management of the college’s resources. My approach emphasizes directing funds to programs that provide the greatest benefit to students and the community, with a belief that education should create clear pathways to well-paying jobs and career advancement.
In my role as Chair of the COD Alumni Association, I have worked to fortify the connection between the college and the community. My involvement with Rotary further supports this effort by fostering partnerships throughout the community.
