Scott Sparks
Challenger Scott Sparks is running for Rialto School Board Area 1 in Rialto, California. The election was held on November 5, 2024.
Growing up in Rialto, I attended Kelley Elementary, Frisbie Jr. High, and graduated from Eisenhower High School. My journey came full circle as I taught at Morgan Elementary and served as a physical education teacher and coach at Eisenhower High School.
As a member of the physical education and health committee, I was dedicated to promoting student health. Later, as an Assistant Principal, I focused on campus safety, understanding that students learn best when they feel safe.
Becoming the first alum principal at Eisenhower was a privilege. During my tenure, we increased graduation rates, improved state testing scores, and enhanced our career technical education programs. We added new manufacturing, engineering, child development, and health careers programs, providing students with vital skills for their futures.
I hold a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, enabling me to advocate effectively for our students and educators. As a parent of five children who all graduated from Eisenhower High School, I am deeply invested in the success of our schools.
I am committed to building a brighter future for our students and community.
