As a proud native of San Francisco and a resident of Contra Costa County for over three decades, Sonia is deeply connected to the diverse communities that make up the district.
Professionally, Sonia is a bilingual, self-employed real estate professional with a degree in legal studies. As a single mother of four adult sons, including autistic twins, Sonia understands the importance of compassion, resilience, and determination in facing life's challenges.
Sonia's personal experiences have shaped her perspective and drive to advocate for policies that support families like hers, and she is committed to being a voice for all members of our community.
