Veronica Cabrera is a real estate broker doing business in Pomona. She originally lived in Anaheim, CA for 25 years. After that she moved to Huntington Beach, CA. Mexico, and China for the last 8 years. Destiny brought her to Pomona.
For years she was looking for her life purpose. She has traveled numerous cities through five continents including Asia, North, Central and South America, Africa, and Europe.
Veronica has been her own boss owning small businesses in the USA, Mexico and China. She earned a bachelor's in business administration and a master's degree in Adult Education on top of her professional cosmetologist license and real estate brokage.
She is the mother of two wonderful daughters. Her younger lives in Mexico and her older in Europe (Iceland). Like mother like daughter.
There are three passions in Veronica's life besides traveling, reading, and working, that is Politics, Real Estate and the study of law. She has tried joining the law school but due to her heavy loaded schedule, she has had to postpone it every time.
When Veronica arrived at Pomona, she was impacted by the great need of city improvement. Someone significant in her life told her once, "if you want thing to be done right, do them yourself" She never forgot that advise, therefore she know that the only way to improve the city's condition is by becoming part of the city management (city council)
Veronica has decided to run for city council in 2026 for district 3. She is a total independent candidate from any political groups, institutions, politician, or groups of interest.
Veronica thinks that the key to improve the city is by having a better city budget management, and financial administration. She thinks that with the same city budget (without increasing taxes or privatizing public property) we can do wonders.
