Toby Damisch was elected as Douglas County Assessor in 2022 and took office in 2023, following 25 years of experience in the Assessor’s Office, including eight years as Chief Deputy. He earned a degree in Urban Planning and Economics from Iowa State University, attended graduate school in Computer Science at Regis University, and has built his career around using technology in operations, fiscal restraint, fair and transparent property valuation, and both volunteer and public service. Toby, and Marcie, his wife of 23 years, have one son, Will, attending the University of Colorado.
