Danny "DJ" Culberson
Challenger Danny "DJ" Culberson is running for Candidate for City Commissioner District Two, Winter Garden in Winter Garden, Florida. The election was held on March 19, 2024.
I'm Danny "DJ" Culberson, and I'm thrilled to launch my campaign for City Commission, driven by a passion for service, a rich professional background, and a profound love for our city.
My journey began in the hustle and bustle of the restaurant business, where I dedicated twenty years of my career to leading some of America's most iconic brands. This experience instilled in me the values of hard work, collaboration, and the importance of community—a foundation I carry with me into this campaign.
Transitioning from the restaurant industry, I took on a role as a global business leader in the food safety and public health industry. This work has given me a unique perspective on the critical intersection of public health and community well-being.
At the core of my life is my family—my husband Bradley and our three incredible sons. They inspire and ground me, reminding me daily of the stakes and responsibilities we bear as stewards of the future.
In our commitment to the community, Bradley and I have been actively involved in local PTSO organizations, supporting youth sports, and contributing to the fabric of our local church. We believe that a thriving community is built on the involvement and engagement of its residents, and we are proud to play our part.
My past involvement in the West Orange Chamber, International Drive Chamber, and the Seminole County Chamber has provided me with a broader perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing our region. Now, as a candidate for City Commission, I am eager to bring this experience to the local level, working collaboratively to address our city's needs and aspirations.
This campaign is not just about policies; it's about people. It's about understanding the unique tapestry of our community and ensuring that every voice is heard. I am committed to an open, inclusive dialogue, and I invite you to join me in shaping a future where our city thrives and every resident is proud to call it home.
