A Message from Nathan Gaskin
I am deeply grateful for the opportunity I had to serve the citizens of the City of LaGrange as a City Councilman for eight years. It was one of the greatest honors of my life to stand beside the people of this community — listening, learning, and working every day to lead with integrity, compassion, and a commitment to progress.
During my time on the LaGrange City Council, our community experienced historic growth, including over $11 billion in industrial and economic development. I was proud to be part of the leadership helping move our city forward while ensuring that the voices of our residents were heard.
Public service is about people. It means making sure every neighborhood matters, every family has opportunity, and every citizen has a voice in their government.
Today, I am honored to continue that commitment by running for Troup County Commission Chair. I believe our county deserves strong leadership that focuses on responsible growth, transparency, and opportunities for every resident across Troup County.
I would also like to take a moment to thank my family for their unwavering support throughout this journey. And to my beloved wife, Denise Gaskin — may you rest in peace until we meet again. Your spirit continues to guide me in every step I take for the people of this community.
Serving this community has never been about a title — it has always been about people. I look forward to continuing to serve and working together to build a stronger future for Troup County.
