Roger Glenn

Challenger Roger Glenn is running as a Republican for Rabun County (Georgia) Commissioner (District 1: At Large) in Clayton, Georgia. The election was held on November 5, 2024.

I moved to Rabun County in 2020 with my wife, Laura after 31 years of service as a commissioned officer in the Military Police Corps. I obtained my real estate license and accepted a position with Poss Realty shortly thereafter. In addition to our work in real estate, we created The Rabun County Spotlight, a series of videos featuring organizations from Rabun County. We are Friends of the Rabun County Sheriff's Office and have donated over $10,000 over the last several years. I write a regular column for The Clayton Tribune, and also have written a dozen Veterans Spotlight articles for the Georgia Mountain Laurel. I have a bachelor's degree in Political Science from The Ohio State University and a Master's degree from the United States Army War College. I am a member of The Ohio State University Army ROTC Alumni, and currently a Director with the Georgia Mountains & Lakes Realtors' Association. My military awards include The Legion of Merit (Army), Bronze Star Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Combat Action Badge, and numerous others. I commanded at the Company and Battalion (Task Force Guantanamo Bay, Cuba) levels and have served on the board of several not-for-profit organizations and trade associations
