Councilwoman Vanessa Thomas is seeking her second term in office. She is an eight (8) year resident of McDonough by way of College Park, Georgia for over 20 years. During her term in office, she initiated a "Know Your Rights" seminar giving her residents knowledge and understanding on how to respond to law enforcement when encountered. She also sponsored a successful 1st Annual Job Fair in McDonough in collaboration with The Goodwill Career Center, Stockbridge location. She has been an advocate on behalf of her constituents regarding new developments in and around neighborhoods. She will continue to be an advocate for her constituents.
