Michelle Lyons
Michelle Lyons is running for Lewis County Treasurer in Nezperce, Idaho, an open seat. The election was held on May 19, 2026.
I have proudly served the citizens of Lewis County for the past 15 years and bring a strong commitment to responsible public service. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science from Lewis-Clark State College and currently serve as Chief Deputy Treasurer and Office Manager for Lewis County, where I work daily to reconcile accounts, process property tax payments, balance the Treasurer’s budget, and ensure county funds are accurately recorded and safeguarded.
My husband Robert and I have been married for 25 years. Robert recently retired from Hillco Technologies after 25 years of dedicated service. Together, we have two sons: Robert Lyons, who owns and operates his own lawn care business in Lewiston, Idaho, and is the proud father of five children; and Nicholas Lyons, who has four children of his own.
I am deeply committed to my community and quietly volunteer my time with the Lewis County Board of Emergency Food & Shelter as Secretary/Treasurer, the Lewis County Fair, and I previously served 11 years as the Lewis County Veterans Service Officer. Serving others and giving back to the hardworking families who make Lewis County strong is something I truly value.
