*Understanding School Choice because she has been a parent of a student at every level of education: St. Jerome & James Ward Elementary; Jones College Prep & Intrinsic High Schools; and New York University
*Served on the following CPS councils/boards: Local School Council, Parent Advisory Council, Bilingual Advisory Council and the Parent Board of Governors
*A board member of “Friends of Jones” for 8 years
*She has been advocating for the educational and safety needs of students for over 20 years
