Becca Burnfin
Challenger Becca Burnfin is running for Kansas House of Representatives District 123 in Garden City, Kansas. Election day is November 3, 2026.
Hello, I’m Becca!
I’m a Crystal Apple and Kansas Horizon Award-winning educator, union leader, volunteer, doctoral candidate, mom, and candidate for the House of Representatives in District 123, Garden City. As a teacher and volunteer coach, I’m passionate about shaping the future and have been supporting our diverse community alongside the city, county, and local nonprofits since 2013.
I’m a proud mom of three, the wife of a union president, and a strong advocate for working families. I’m also pursuing my Doctorate in Education (DEd) in Education Policy because I believe being informed in the decision-making process is essential to a strong community.
I focus on local policy and taking on the fights that matter most to Garden City. I am no stranger to the Statehouse and understand how to navigate the process to get results. There is never a time I don’t stand up for those I represent.
Reach out, I’d love to talk about how we can make Garden City better together.
