While talking to people in the community, I found that we share common values: wanting the best for our family, good health, and protections of individual rights. Our children are our future. It’s imperative that schools and special education be funded to ensure that teachers and students have the tools that they need to succeed, and that students upon graduation will excel, whether they continue their education or pursue a trade that is so critical in our every day lives. I have been advocating along with hundreds of other people across the state for the expansion of Medicaid that would provide coverage for over 400 residents of District 6 (over 150,000 citizens statewide), create jobs and reduce healthcare costs for all. I believe that the voices of voting citizens count: just like they did in 2020 when voters demanded that women’s healthcare and reproductive rights be protected. When elected as Kansas House Representative for District 6, I pledge to work collaboratively and without personal agenda on behalf of ALL Kansans!
