Chris Rohland

Chris Rohland is running for Marshfield Selectboard in Marshfield, Massachusetts, an open seat. The election was held on July 25, 2026.

Chris Rohland is a Marshfield homeowner, former Select Board member, and longtime community volunteer who is asking for your vote to return to local government.

Chris moved to Marshfield two decades ago with his wife, Cody, to raise their two children. They were drawn to the town’s beautiful beaches, safe streets, and strong public schools. It was the best decision their family could have made, and since then, Chris and Cody have been committed to giving back to the community they love.

During his last term on the Marshfield Select Board, Chris helped lead the town’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. He secured record amounts of state and federal grant funding to support local businesses and reduce disruption across the town. He also supported four major construction projects, helping break ground on a new police station, DPW headquarters, Veterans Home, and Senior Center. Each project was completed on time and without cost overruns.

Between his three years on the Select Board and his previous eight years on the Capital Budget Committee, Chris helped balance 11 town budgets.

Chris serves on the Board of the Marshfield Boys & Girls Club. He also volunteers with the Molly Fitzgerald Memorial Fund and is an annual volunteer with Grad Night Live, which is co-chaired by his wife.

Professionally, Chris spent 32 years as an advertising and media executive, leading teams of more than a dozen employees and managing multimillion-dollar budgets. Today, he works as a Realtor® with The Firm Real Estate Group, a local South Shore real estate brokerage.
