As a person with over 25 years’ experience in the Collector's Office, a Bachelors of Science in Accountancy with a minor in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Administration with a management emphasis, I am the most qualified candidate for St. Charles County Collector of Revenue. I have comprehensive knowledge and understanding of local, state, and federal laws affecting tax collection. My priorities include improving operational efficiency, continued modernization of tax payment processes, and enhancing customer service through technology, process improvements, and continued staff development. I will continually evaluate our processes and ask the question, “Is there a better way to serve taxpayers, reduce paperwork and improve response time?” I listen to the taxpayers and staff, then work to reduce friction and pain points. The Collector’s Office handles nearly a billion dollars a year for over 30 taxing entities and more than 100 tax funds. It issues about 350 thousand bills annually. Experience Matters.
