Alexis Hughes

I’m a Christian, conservative wife & mom, business owner, and lifelong Republican not a career politician. I believe in putting God first, protecting our Constitution, defending parental rights, and keeping government accountable to the people it serves. COVID showed us what happens when leaders forget their oath and hold citizens to rules they won’t follow themselves. I believe in law and order, safe schools, fiscal responsibility, and growth that’s smart not forced, reckless, or paid for on the backs of taxpayers and generational landowners. We are required to fund our schools, but we should also demand transparency and proof that our dollars are being spent where they’re supposed to be. I don’t believe in rubber-stamping feel-good projects, unchecked development, or being told “it’s good for you” without real data. I’ll ask the hard questions, vote with conviction, and stand up even when it’s uncomfortable because Cabarrus County deserves leaders who answer to the people, not the system.
