O'Riley is a former military veteran who has worked in the North Dakota rural mental health systems. The psychologist hopes to bring her wealth of experience to the legislature. She received her clinical psychology doctorate from the Miami Institute of Psychology and a degree in canon law from Katholieke University Leuven, Belgium.
O'Riley served as an officer in the Army for over 20 years, and worked in the Department of Defense Health Care system for an additional ten years. She has dedicated her professional life to the care of others. O'Riley serves her local Catholic diocese, as well as other dioceses around the world, as a canon lawyer and clinical psychologist.
