Carla Thomas

Carla Thomas is not only a Community Leader, but also building broad bridges over the gaps that separate people. The mantra of her success is contrived from the meaningful and powerful stories of how she has addressed her issues through positivity while keeping her shadows in front.

Also, as a prominent minority business owner, she has been able to utilize her vast experiences and education to help others build their teams and businesses to serve their communities. A great organizer who has helped create many opportunities for many people no matter their background, to receive help and support in addressing issues such as increasing crime, gang prevention, and drug addiction, with taking pride in her community, she shows exceptional efforts to promote and improve her community.

Carla has numerous Community Recognition commendations and, a certificate of completion from the Professional Community Intervention Training Institute (P.C.I.T.I), which included gang prevention, de-escalation, crime intervention, mediation, and understanding the role between law enforcement and community.

A graduate of Holy Spirit High School, Star Technical Institute, and with a Medical Assistant Certification, and diploma from the University of Connecticut through the Family Development Credential program.

Carla is respected for demonstrating significant leadership and making valuable contributions within the State of New Jersey, the City of Pleasantville, and Atlantic City.

My proudest accomplishment is being a loving wife of 16 years, a mother of three, and a Mimi to four handsome grandsons. Carla is an inspiration to all whose energy and achievements help us glimpse a future of hope and promise.

My greatest aspiration is to monitor the impact of her actions on her community as a Community Leader.
