Josh Taveras is a first-generation Dominican-American, grassroots organizer, and proud son of Copiague running to represent New York’s 2nd Congressional District. Orphaned at a young age and raised by his aunt, Josh knows firsthand the struggles working-class families face, from food insecurity to navigating our healthcare and immigration systems. He’s not a career politician; he’s one of us. With a background in political science, retail leadership, and community activism, Josh is fighting for a new future where everyday people, not corporations, come first.
