Challenger Greg Cox is running for Johnson City Commission in Johnson City, Tennessee. The election was held on November 5, 2024.
I’m proud to come from generations of Johnson Citians,
including some of our earliest mayors.
So I have Deep Roots in our past.
And I’m invested in our present.
After earning an engineering degree
and learning the value of physical labor
running maintenance on a ranch,
I came back to Johnson City
and went into Real Estate and development.
Over the years, I’ve served multiple terms on:
● the Planning Commission,
● the Historic Zoning Commission,
● the Johnson City Redevelopment Authority,
● and a variety of nonprofit boards.
Having built several small businesses
in real estate, retail, and hospitality,
what I’ve realized is that-
at the heart of them all-
are the people and culture
that make this place so special.
