Bob King
Challenger Bob King is running as a Libertarian for Congress in New Braunfels, Texas. The election was held on November 5, 2024.
Bob King is a native Texan, an independent-minded constitutionalist and libertarian, running to represent the 21st district of Texas in Congress.
Bob believes, as you probably do, that our two major parties are accomplices in the disastrous situation our country now faces on a multitude of fronts: a $34 trillion national debt that constitutes generational theft from our children and grandchildren; an immigration system that is broken and a border that is routinely violated without consequence; a massive bureaucracy that infringes on our liberties on a daily basis; a foreign policy that injects us into wars around the globe.
As Albert Einstein once observed, "doing the same thing over and over, yet expecting different results, is the definition of insanity."
If we continue to vote for Democrats and Republicans, we will continue to get what we are getting. Two parties that are allies in the centralization of power in Washington DC, and opponents to the death of who gets to wield it.
Instead, we should look to principled leaders who seek not to benefit themselves but to serve the public.
My principles are simple:
1. More personal and civil liberty from an ever-encroaching regulatory state.
2. More economic liberty from an increasingly redistributive state.
3. Speaking more softly while carrying our big stick in international relations (i.e. non intervention).
4. Adherence to the US Constitution, not just when it is convenient, but at all times.
Think different.
Vote different.
