Emily's journey as a cancer survivor has given her a deep understanding of the importance of inner strength and community support. This experience led her to found Dollistic, a restorative cosmetic and medical micropigmentation business in Stone Oak. Through her work, she helps restore confidence to those affected by chemotherapy, alopecia, trichotillomania, and other medical conditions. Before establishing Dollistic in 2013, Emily honed her leadership skills in Fortune 500 companies, developing a deep understanding of effective communication and directing workforce organization. This background, combined with her entrepreneurial spirit, equips her with the tools necessary to navigate complex city issues and drive positive change.

Emily believes that District 9 deserves a representative who truly listens to and advocates for its residents. After living in Washington D.C. for over a decade, Emily and her husband, Felipe, chose San Antonio as their forever home. Drawn by Felipe's childhood memories of playing baseball at McAllister Park and the city's vibrant culture, and warm community they knew this was where they wanted to raise their son and contribute to the city's bright future.
