Greg Petolick is a longtime Denton County resident, business person, educator, and community volunteer running for the Denton ISD Board of Trustees. With more than 40 years of professional leadership experience, currently serves as an adjunct professor at Southern Methodist University, and has hands-on experience in Denton ISD classrooms as a substitute teacher, I bring a student-first, data-driven, and fiscally responsible approach to school board governance.
He has also served Denton ISD through roles with the Denton Public School Foundation, district advisory committees, campus improvement teams, and PTAs, giving him a well-rounded, inside view of how Denton ISD schools operate. He believes strong schools are built by supporting great teachers, ensuring safe and welcoming campuses, and engaging openly with the community, so every student, on every campus, has the opportunity to succeed.
