As a long-time resident of Kyle, I’ve seen this community grow and change, and I believe it’s important that we continue to shape our future together, mindful of both our progress and our traditions. My name is Yvonne, and for years I’ve been dedicated to ensuring our city's growth reflects the needs of the people who call it home.
In 2019, after noticing a gap in leadership, I decided to step up and become an advocate for residents. As the previous District 2 Representative I focused on creating policies that prioritize fiscal responsibility, transparency, and responsible development. I’m committed to cultivating a leadership style that is accountable, listens to all perspectives, and support a balanced approach to decision-making.
My campaign is focused on ensuring that we move forward together, with everyone’s voice heard and every decision made in the best interest of our entire community.
Professionally, I’ve worked as a paralegal since obtaining my Master's Degree from Texas State in 2013. Since 2018, I’ve been employed at a firm in Westlake, where I’ve gained expertise in legal research, writing, and problem-solving. Additionally, I serve on a non-profit board dedicated to supporting a variety of people, including children and victims of domestic violence.
